Why it matters

In 2020, an estimated 13.4 million babies were born preterm worldwide, representing approximately 9.9% of all births. In the UK, the rate of premature births has risen to about 8% in recent years.

We believe that philanthropy plays a crucial role in supporting both mothers and babies, ensuring the best possible chances for survival and healthy outcomes in neonatal care.

Additionally, philanthropic efforts are vital in funding cutting-edge research that can drive practical improvements in neonatal care, ultimately enhancing the lives of the most vulnerable infants and their families.

Why it matters

Our Approach

Support innovative research

Research

We support research that meaningfully improves the health and long-term outcomes of pregnant women and their babies. Together with our advisory board of experts in neonatal and maternal health, we identify research programmes with the potential for significant impact and a ripple effect. Our primary focus is on research that integrates both observational and experimental approaches.

Support innovative research

Hospital Support

We equip hospitals and healthcare centers with the resources needed to ensure mothers and babies thrive. Our support ranges from additional NICU units to essential breastfeeding supplies. We collaborate with hospitals to assess their specific needs, ensuring our assistance is both targeted and impactful.
